A
few comments about the Avistar: This was my first glow (fuel)
powered plane. It is a little fast for a newbie. Luckily my
flying partner had a slower plane for me to get some stick time
on. However, in no time at all I soloed it. It is a great aileron
trainer/sport plane. It has plenty of lift for a digital camera,
but the semi-symmetrical wing allows for an introduction into
sport flying. Lost it doing a slow roll for the camera. Repairable.
